9/28/2003 -- Greetings fellow programs!  Okay, if you don't get the reference, it's from the 1982 Disney movie "Tron", which I recently purchased on DVD and watched just last night. Proof, in case you needed it, that I'm a geek. It's a fun little movie, and absolutely groundbreaking at the time for it's CG effects, many of which still look good.

So, it was my plan to do some new pictures tonight, but that plan totally crashed and burned. I got all dressed, did my makeup, got Heather Nova's "South" playing on the CD, and things were going pretty good. Unfortunately, all of the pictures I took were all washed out, and I couldn't figure it out at first. Then I took a good look at the camera, and the inside of the lens was all fogged up. Has to be due to the fact that it's pretty warm tonight, and about 150% humidity since it's been raining all weekend. Oh well, bummer. I'll have to do the pictures next weekend.

Since the pictures were a bust, I decided I'd at least go for a drive. I needed to "clock" one of my running routes anyway, to see how long it is. Nothing as exciting as my past adventures out of the house. I was thinking that maybe I'd get dressed up and try to catch a late show of "Underworld", since I'm dying to see that. I'm kind of a Kate Beckinsale fan anyway, and mix that with Matrix/vampire action, I don't see how it can miss. I don't know though, might be lots of people. I figured I could buy a ticket over the 'net, pick it up at the little machine, then I only have to talk to the pimply kid taking tickets. Maybe I'm a wicked chicken and I'd pass without an issue, and all my worrying is for nothing. Do you think self-confidence has anything to do with it? If I feel more confident, will it make the difference?

Okay, enough self therapy for one night. I better go. Talk to you soon.
